Overview
GOHA BriefClermont Waterfront Park is a city park on the shore of Lake Minneola, about 35 minutes west of Orlando. With a splash pad, playground, public beach and paved lakefront paths, it suits families, walkers, cyclists and anyone who wants an easy day by the water.
The park stretches along Lake Minneola in Clermont, running between East Avenue and Eighth Street. It is the city's downtown waterfront and a main site for festivals and community gatherings, so it can feel quiet one weekend and busy the next.
A typical visit might mean a walk or bike ride on the paved lakefront paths, a swim at the public beach, or some time on the fishing piers. A fitness trail that is part of a 30-mile trail system runs through the park, and there are picnic areas, pavilions and tables for a long lunch.
For kids, Champions Splash Park, a splash pad inside the park, sits alongside a playground. There is also a basketball court, and an observation tower gives you a view out over the lake. The park regularly hosts triathlons and water events such as dragon boat races and regattas.
