Privacy policy
Last updated: October 22, 2026
This policy explains what information GOHA (goha.ai) collects, why we collect it and the choices you have. GOHA is run by GO Travel LLC ("GOHA", "we").
What we collect
- Your account: your email address, and the handle, name (optional) and language you choose. If you sign in with Google, Google shares your name, email address and profile photo with us.
- What you post: questions, tips, replies and photos, plus the posts you mark as helpful and the posts you report. Posts and photos are public. Photos are resized before upload, which removes hidden location data.
- Business claims: the contact name, role, business email, phone (optional) and booking details you send when you claim a business page.
- The GOHA guide and search: what you type to the guide and the trip details you share, such as dates and who is traveling, and what you type in search. Guide conversations are tied to a random visitor ID, not to your account.
- Visits: the page you open, the page that sent you, campaign tags in the link and the site language. We don't store your IP address or link visits to your account.
- Hotel searches you send to our booking partner: dates, rooms, number of guests, children's ages and a random click ID.
- Bookings: our booking partner tells us the booking reference, hotel, dates, number of guests, total and status. We don't receive guest names or payment details.
How we use it
- To run GOHA and your account, and to show your posts.
- To check business claims.
- To answer your questions in the guide and search.
- To understand which pages and features are used, as counts, so we can improve them.
- To prevent abuse and limit heavy use of the guide. For this we keep a scrambled (hashed) version of your IP address, never the address itself.
- To match bookings with our booking partner.
We don't sell your information, and we don't use advertising trackers.
Cookies
- Sign-in cookies keep you signed in.
- When you use the guide, a cookie with a random ID keeps your conversation and applies usage limits. It lasts up to a year.
- Your browser's session storage keeps us from counting the same page twice. It clears when you close the tab.
We use no advertising or analytics cookies.
Who we share it with
We use these services to run GOHA: Supabase (database, sign-in and photo storage), Vercel (hosting), Anthropic (writes the guide's and search's answers from your questions), Resend (sign-in emails) and Google (only if you choose Google sign-in).
Hotel bookings are made with our partner RoomTrips at goha.roomtrips.com. When you click to book, we send your search details and a click ID. RoomTrips handles your booking, payment and personal details under its own privacy policy.
Some pages show videos and posts from YouTube, Instagram and TikTok, and maps from OpenFreeMap. These load from those services, which can see your IP address and may set their own cookies.
We may share information when the law requires it, or to protect GOHA, our users or others.
How long we keep it
Account details stay while your account exists. Posts stay until you or we remove them. Guide conversations, visit records and usage records are kept for up to 2 years.
Your choices
You can change your handle, name and language on your account page and delete your own posts. To get a copy of your information or delete your account, email us at gioecure@gmail.com. We reply within 30 days.
Depending on where you live (for example the EU, the UK or California), you may have more rights, such as correcting your data or objecting to how we use it. Contact us to use them.
Children
GOHA is not meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.
Security
We use encrypted connections and limit who can access data. No system is perfectly secure.
Where data is stored
Our services store and process data in the United States.
Changes
When we change this policy we update the date above, and we tell you about important changes on the site.
