Overview
GOHA BriefMarriott's Lakeshore Reserve is a Marriott Vacation Club resort in Orlando's Grande Lakes complex, with apartment-style suites and townhomes that have full kitchens. It's a quiet base that suits families and couples who want room to spread out between park days.
The resort sits among roughly 500 acres of tropical grounds in Grande Lakes, the same complex as the JW Marriott and Ritz-Carlton hotels. A waterside promenade links it to the JW Marriott Orlando, Grande Lakes. It's roughly midway between Walt Disney World and Universal Studios, and about 6.8 miles from Orlando International Airport.
You stay in a one-, two- or three-bedroom suite or townhome with a full kitchen and a separate living area, so it feels more like an apartment than a hotel room. The Marketplace on site sells quick snacks and everyday essentials. Blossoms Bar and Grill serves American food, mostly lunch and lighter dishes.
The main pool has a zero-entry section, two side-by-side waterslides, a lazy river and whirlpool spas. There's also an 18-hole golf course with a driving range and lessons, a 24-hour gym, locker rooms with a sauna and steam room, a playground, and supervised childcare at an extra charge.
