Overview
GOHA BriefThe Escape Game Orlando is a live escape room venue on International Drive, next to ICON Park, where small groups solve puzzles to get out of themed rooms. Its family-friendly games suit families, friends, birthday groups and work teams looking for an hour of shared problem-solving.
The venue sits beside ICON Park on International Drive, surrounded by places to eat and other things to do. It's about 2.5 miles from Universal Studios and 13 miles from Orlando International Airport, so it fits easily into a day on I-Drive.
Each game is built in-house and runs for 60 minutes, with several rooms to move through inside each one. The rooms are set up like a playable movie set, and the puzzles tie into the story. Themes include Prison Break, Legend of the Yeti, The Depths (an underwater lab), The Heist, Special Ops: Mysterious Market, Gold Rush, Playground and Mission: Mars.
Prison Break puts you in a 1950s-era iron-barred prison and is listed as one of the harder games. Legend of the Yeti is a newer addition, where you break into an abandoned outpost to find out what happened to a missing expedition. Hints are unlimited, which takes some pressure off first-timers.
