GOHA BriefPirate's Cove is a pirate-themed mini golf spot on International Drive with two 18-hole courses. It suits families, friends and groups looking for an easy one- to two-hour outing that keeps both kids and adults entertained.
You'll find Pirate's Cove at 8501 International Drive, right next to ICON Park and about a mile from the Convention Center. The courses wind past sunken ships, waterfalls, pirate dungeons and tropical landscaping, with a newly added pirate ship as one of the latest features.
There are two courses to choose from: the Captain's Course and Blackbeard's Challenge. Play one for 18 holes or both for a full 36. A round usually takes about one to two hours, depending on how many holes you play. Your putter and ball come with entry.
Blackbeard's Challenge stands out for its small history lesson: each hole carries a fact about the pirate Blackbeard, which gives kids something to read between putts. The course is open year round and late into the evening, so it works well after dinner on I-Drive.
