GOHA BriefMachine Gun America is an indoor shooting attraction in Kissimmee built around firing fully automatic weapons, with one-on-one instruction from a range safety officer. It suits first-time shooters and experienced gun enthusiasts alike, and the operator describes it as family-friendly.
Machine Gun America sits on W Irlo Bronson Memorial Highway in Kissimmee, across from Old Town and about 10 to 15 minutes from Disney and Universal. It presents itself as Orlando's only automatic-firearm attraction, and it is set up as a supervised, hands-on experience rather than a basic gun range.
Each shooter gets a set of firearms, eye and ear protection, and one-on-one instruction from a range safety officer. The officers are described as former military or law enforcement professionals, and the instructors are NRA certified. In the Pick 4 package you choose four firearms from the collection, and each shooter gets an extra magazine for the gun of their choice.
The collection spans World War II, the Vietnam era and modern weapons, and includes at least one gun said to have appeared in a Star Wars film. If someone in your group would rather not handle live fire, there are simulation rooms where guests shoot virtually without real ammunition.
