GOHA BriefDrawn to Life is a Cirque du Soleil show built with Walt Disney Animation Studios and Walt Disney Imagineering, staged in its own theater on the West Side of Disney Springs. It mixes live acrobatics with new Disney animation, and it suits families, since the venue is listed for all ages and you don't need a theme park ticket to go.
The show plays in a dedicated theater on the West Side of Disney Springs in Lake Buena Vista, near the House of Blues. It opened on November 18, 2021, taking over the same theater as the long-running La Nouba, and it is only presented here in Orlando.
The story follows Julie, a young girl who finds an unfinished animation piece left by her late father and sets out to explore it. The stage becomes a large animation table, and acrobatics, choreography and new Disney animation play out to an original score inspired by Disney's music. Before the main performance, a pre-show has animators bringing children from the audience up to draw their own artwork.
The show has changed over time. The final swing-to-swing sequence now has performers as Julie and her father, with new costumes and stunts, and later updates added an Icarian Games segment, where performers juggle partners with their feet, plus aerial hoops.
