GOHA BriefVista Cay is a gated resort community off International Drive where you rent a full condo or townhome instead of a hotel room. Each unit has a full kitchen and its own washer and dryer, and most sleep six, so it suits families and groups doing the theme parks.
The resort is set around a lake near International Drive, with a landscaped trail of about two miles circling the water. It is a gated community, and Universal Epic Universe is directly across Universal Boulevard, a short walk away. Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, SeaWorld and the Disney parks are all within easy reach.
Units are apartment-style two- and three-bedroom condos and three-bedroom townhomes, each with a full kitchen and in-unit laundry. A full-size Publix grocery store sits next to the resort, so stocking the kitchen is easy. There is also a convenience store, a gift shop, a Walgreens and a salon on the property.
The pools are the main draw between park days. There are three outdoor pools plus a separate children's pool, and the main clubhouse on Cayview Avenue adds a large heated pool, a hot tub and another kids' pool. Two poolside bars, a garden, a playground, a fitness center and a game room round things out.
