GOHA BriefUniversal Cabana Bay Beach Resort is a hotel inside the Universal Orlando area, within walking distance of the theme parks and CityWalk. With family suites that sleep up to six, two big pools and a bowling alley in the lobby, it suits families and groups planning a few days at the parks.
The resort sits at 6550 Adventure Way in the Universal Orlando area. You can walk to both Universal theme park areas and CityWalk, or take the free shuttle buses that run between the hotel and the parks. A dedicated walking path also leads to a Volcano Bay entrance.
Rooms come in two main types: standard rooms that sleep up to four, and family suites with kitchenettes that sleep up to six. The main place to eat is a food court off the lobby, and there's also a cafe, a Starbucks and bars on site. There's an exercise room, and wired internet is free.
The pools are a big part of a stay here. One of the two large pools is a lazy river, and the other has a waterslide. The Cabana Courtyard pool has a dive-tower-themed slide, a poolside bar, rentable cabanas, shaded picnic tables and a large fire pit. Inside the main lobby there's a 10-lane bowling alley. Guests can also enter select attractions at a Universal park up to an hour before regular opening, with a valid park ticket or key card.
