GOHA BriefTropical Palms Resort & Campground is a roughly 69-acre resort in Kissimmee with cottages, family rooms and RV sites, close to the Orlando parks. It suits families with kids, RV travelers and people bringing their dog, with pools, games and a playground on site.
The resort sits off Highway 192, a main Kissimmee route lined with restaurants, shops and attractions. Walt Disney World is about a 10-minute drive away, according to a hotel listing, and you can walk to Old Town and nearby restaurants from the property.
You can stay in a cottage with a full kitchen, patio, picnic table and flat-screen TV, in a family room with air conditioning, a private bathroom, a kitchenette and a patio or dining area, or bring your RV to a site with hookups. An on-site general store covers everyday items, and laundry facilities make longer stays easier.
The grounds keep people busy between park days: a heated outdoor pool and a separate kiddie pool, the poolside Toucan Cafe for burgers and fries, mini golf, shuffleboard, bocce ball, volleyball, a games room with billiards, a fitness center, a playground and children's activities. Pets are welcome, with dog parks and a pet bathing area.
