Overview
GOHA BriefThe Grove Resort & Water Park Orlando is an all-suite resort with its own water park, Surfari, about six miles from the Walt Disney World theme parks. It suits families who want space, a kitchen and plenty to do on site, and the separate Terraces building gives couples and adults a quieter option.
The resort sits about six miles from the Walt Disney World theme parks. Its official address is 14501 Grove Resort Ave in Winter Garden, Florida, even though it is often listed under Orlando. Free scheduled shuttles run daily to Walt Disney World, Universal Orlando and SeaWorld, so park days are easy without driving.
Every unit is a suite. The two- and three-bedroom condos have a full kitchen, a full-size washer and dryer and a screened-in balcony, which helps on longer family trips. The Terraces building offers studios and one- and two-bedroom suites in a quieter, adults-focused setting. For meals there are three restaurants, three bars and a marketplace for groceries and snacks.
The big draw is Surfari Water Park, which guests can use free during their stay. It has a FlowRider Double surf simulator, a 725-foot lazy river and several slides, plus splash areas and a splash pad for younger kids. Beyond that you'll find heated pools and hot tubs, a poolside bar and cabanas, a kids' activity center, a fitness center and an arcade with glow-in-the-dark mini golf.
