GOHA BriefSummer Bay Orlando By Exploria Resorts is a condo-style resort set around a private 64-acre lake in Clermont, off US-192. It suits families who want space, a kitchen and plenty to do on site, with Walt Disney World about six miles away.
The resort is built around a secluded, spring-fed 64-acre lake, so it feels quiet even though the major attractions are close. Walt Disney World is about six miles away, Universal Studios and SeaWorld are roughly a thirty-minute drive, and Lake Louisa State Park is about fifteen minutes by car.
Rooms are condo-style, from one-bedroom condos to two-bedroom condos and villas that sleep up to eight, and some have fully equipped kitchens. An on-site grocery market makes self-catering easy. For meals out, there is Big Kahuna's poolside grill, Kokomo's lakeside tiki bar, The Italian Kitchen and a coffee shop for morning coffee and snacks.
What stands out is how much there is to do without leaving. There is an outdoor pool, hot tub and sun deck, the Buccaneer Bay water playground, a lakeside marina and aqua park for water sports, mini golf, tennis courts and a fitness center. Kids get their own pool, an arcade, a movie theater and daily activities.
