GOHA BriefMarriott's Sabal Palms is a villa resort on World Center Drive in Lake Buena Vista, a short drive from Walt Disney World and Kissimmee. Its two-bedroom villas with full kitchens and washer-dryers suit families who want room to spread out between theme park days, golf and time outdoors.
The resort sits at 8805 World Center Drive, about 5 miles from Disney Springs, 11 miles from Universal Orlando and 17 miles from Orlando airport. It calls itself a family resort geared to outdoor activities, golf and the theme parks, and the grounds are spread out with plenty of space.
Stays are in two-bedroom, two-bathroom villas with a full-size kitchen, a washer and dryer, and a large flat-screen TV, so you can cook and do laundry without leaving your room. Free Wi-Fi runs throughout the resort. For quick bites, a small on-site market has coffee and snacks, and the resort's restaurants include Solaris and High Velocity.
Most of the life here happens around the outdoor pool, which has a whirlpool beside it, a shuffleboard court, an oversized chess set, and a fire pit with seating for evenings. There's also a tennis court, a basketball court, a fitness center with classes, and a sauna. The Orlando World Center Marriott next door, within walking distance, adds spa treatments and fine dining.
