GOHA BriefMargaritaville Resort Orlando is an island-themed resort in Kissimmee with hotel rooms, private cottages and multi-bedroom villas, all with a Caribbean feel. It's a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor hotel, and its official FAQ pitches it to families of all sizes, though the villas also work well for groups traveling together.
The resort sits at 8000 Fins Up Circle in Kissimmee, a few minutes' drive from Disney's parks. Next door is Island H2O Live! Water Park, about 14 acres with around 20 water attractions, including a lazy river, a wave pool and a number of slides. The Promenade at Sunset Walk is within walking distance and has restaurants, shops, an arcade, a movie theater and live music on its plaza stage.
You're greeted with a complimentary cocktail when you arrive. Hotel rooms have private balconies, floor-to-ceiling windows and minifridges. Cottages give you more privacy, and the villas come in two-, three- and four-bedroom layouts that sleep about 6, 8 and 10 guests. Food on site ranges from grab-and-go at Provisions to burgers and drinks at the poolside Salty Rim Bar & Grill and Florida seafood at the more upscale Euphoria Fish House.
The Fins Up Beach Club has heated lagoon-style pools you can use year-round, plus cabanas, chaise lounges and poolside food and drink service. The resort also runs rotating activities like foam parties, live music, a Polynesian-style experience, and family events such as cornhole and slime-making. St. Somewhere Spa offers tropical-themed massages and body treatments, and the Fins Up Fitness Center is open 24 hours.
