GOHA BriefHyatt Regency Orlando is a large, family-friendly resort hotel on International Drive, near SeaWorld Orlando and directly connected to the Orange County Convention Center. It suits families who want a big pool setup and convention-goers who want to walk straight to their event.
This is a 32-story resort with 1,641 rooms, open since 1986, at 9801 International Drive. You're in the thick of I-Drive, with shopping, dining and more than 100 entertainment options within about a two-mile radius, and a direct connection to the Orange County Convention Center.
The pools are the main draw. The Grotto Pool is a 10,000-square-foot heated zero-entry pool with cascading waterfalls, a 100-foot waterslide, a children's splash pool and private cabanas. The nearly Olympic-sized Terrace Pool sits above International Drive and works well for laps or a quieter afternoon. There's ping-pong, foosball and daily activities on the Grotto Pool Deck.
Rooms are restyled with Hyatt Euro Pillowtop beds, sleeper sofas, minifridges and 65-inch streaming TVs, and Family Suites sleep up to six. On-site you'll find Fiorenzo Italian Steakhouse, B-Line Diner, Coconuts Poolside Bar & Grill, a 24-hour market, 24-hour in-room dining, a full-service spa and salon, and a 24-hour fitness center.
