GOHA BriefHyatt Place Orlando/Universal is a hotel of about 150 rooms on Caravan Court, roughly a 15-minute walk or 3-minute drive from the Universal Orlando Resort entrance. The hotel sits in the International Drive area, close enough to Universal Orlando Resort that you can walk to the park instead of riding the shuttle. Universal Studios, Islands of Adventure, Volcano Bay, CityWalk and EPIC Universe are all within easy reach, as is Orlando International Premium Outlets. An I-Ride Trolley Green Line stop nearby connects you to International Drive attractions such as SEA LIFE Orlando.
Rooms run about 350 to 450 square feet, with options including two-queen rooms with a sofa bed, bunk-bed suites and high-floor king rooms with views. Each has a small refrigerator, a coffee maker and a flat-screen TV. Breakfast is free every day, and sandwiches, salads and baked goods are available around the clock, along with a 24/7 espresso bar, a market-style cafe and a lobby bar called The Placery.
Between park visits, the heated outdoor pool has lounge chairs and towels, and there is a fitness center on site. A free shuttle runs to Universal Orlando Resort, and it can also reach SeaWorld and Aquatica when space allows. Pets are welcome.
