Overview
GOHA BriefAn all-suite Holiday Inn Resort on 24 acres about a mile from Walt Disney World Resort, with its own waterpark and family-sized suites. It suits families who want space, kitchenettes and plenty to do for kids between park days.
The resort sits on 24 acres in Orlando's tourism district, roughly a mile from Walt Disney World Resort. It is a Walt Disney World Good Neighbor Hotel and is described as the only all-suite Holiday Inn Resort at the Disney entrance. Stays are in one-, two- and three-bedroom suites designed for families, each with a separate living area and a kitchenette, plus a microwave, mini fridge, air conditioning and a 40-inch flat-screen TV.
The water is the main draw. The on-site Surf & Splash Orlando Waterpark has a triple slide tower and a FlowRider Double surf attraction. The centerpiece Lagoon is a zero-depth entry pool with a four-story interactive water tower and several slides. There are also two pools, two whirlpools, poolside cabanas and a poolside bar, and younger kids get their own splash pad and playground.
Away from the pools, there is an arcade of about 3,000 square feet, outdoor basketball courts, a nine-hole mini golf course and a 24-hour fitness center. Six restaurants are on site, a buffet breakfast is served daily, and a free scheduled shuttle runs to the Walt Disney World theme parks each day.
