GOHA BriefHoliday Inn Express & Suites Nearest Uni is an 11-story, all non-smoking hotel about a mile from Universal Studios Florida, with a free scheduled shuttle to Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld. It suits theme park visitors and families who want an easy base with hot breakfast included and a heated pool for downtime.
The hotel sits at 5605 Major Boulevard in Orlando, near the junction of Interstate 4 and the Florida Turnpike. Universal Studios Florida is about one mile away, and the shops and restaurants of International Drive are only a few minutes off.
As a Universal partner hotel, much of the stay revolves around the parks. A Universal Vacation Planning Center in the lobby can answer park questions, and a kiosk there handles registration for the free scheduled shuttle to Universal Orlando Resort and SeaWorld. A daily hot breakfast is included, free Wi-Fi is available, and the front desk is staffed around the clock.
After a park day, there is an outdoor heated pool with a sun deck for laps or lounging, plus an on-site fitness center. The building has about 184 rooms, eight of them designed for accessibility, and a concierge desk can help plan the rest of your visit.
