GOHA BriefDisney's All Star Movies Resort is a Disney Value hotel in the Animal Kingdom Resort Area of Walt Disney World, themed around five Disney films. It suits families with young kids, first-time visitors and budget-conscious travelers who want an on-property base with simple dining and bus transport.
The resort sits in the southern part of Walt Disney World, near Disney's Animal Kingdom park, at 1901 West Buena Vista Drive in Lake Buena Vista. Its 1,920 rooms are spread across five film-inspired areas based on Fantasia, Toy Story, 101 Dalmatians, Mighty Ducks and The Love Bug. Cinema Hall is the lobby and hub, with check-in, the concierge desk, an arcade, a gift shop and the food court.
As a Value resort, things are kept simple. Most rooms have two queen beds, with a limited number of king rooms, and come with a mini-fridge, safe, iron and hair dryer. Meals come from the World Premiere Food Court, which serves breakfast, lunch and dinner with mobile ordering, plus the Silver Screen Spirits pool bar. There is no table-service restaurant. Disney buses are the only way to the parks, with rides usually taking 10 to 20 minutes.
For kids, the draws are the Fantasia Pool with its Sorcerer Mickey fountain, the hockey rink-style Duck Pond Pool, a Fantasia-themed kiddie pool and splash area, the Reel Fun Arcade and a playground. Outdoor Disney movies play most evenings near the food court, weather permitting. The bright theming is fun for families but may not suit adults looking for a quiet, relaxing stay.
