GOHA BriefCopper Creek Villas is a Disney Vacation Club resort inside the Wilderness Lodge, on the shore of Bay Lake in the Magic Kingdom resort area. With studios, villas and waterfront cabins, it suits couples looking for a quiet, mountain-retreat feel as well as families who want a kitchen and space to spread out.
The resort sits on Bay Lake as part of the Wilderness Lodge deluxe resort, and it opened on July 17, 2017. The villas are inside the main Lodge building, and villa guests can use the amenities of the wider Wilderness Lodge, including its restaurants. Rooms can look out over the pool, Bay Lake, the woodlands or the Lodge courtyard.
Rooms range from studios to one-, two- and three-bedroom villas. Two-bedroom villas have a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and an in-room washer and dryer. The 26 waterfront cabins stand out: each has two bedrooms, sleeps up to eight, and has a double-sided stone-hearth fireplace, a screened-in wraparound porch with a private hot tub, an open-style kitchen and a washer and dryer.
For downtime, the heated Copper Creek Springs Pool has a water slide, with a children's water play area and whirlpool spas nearby. Boulder Ridge Cove Pool is the quieter option, with zero-entry access, a hot tub and shade. You can also sunbathe on the beach along Bay Lake, and getting to Magic Kingdom is by boat or bus.
