Overview
GOHA BriefDisney's BoardWalk is a quarter-mile waterside promenade of restaurants, shops and nightlife in the EPCOT Resort Area, built in the style of early 1900s seaside boardwalks. It suits families looking for an easy afternoon stroll, and adults who want a night out with music, drinks and dancing.
BoardWalk sits beside Crescent Lake between EPCOT and Disney's Hollywood Studios. It is modeled on old seaside boardwalks such as Coney Island and Atlantic City, so the look leans toward a classic waterfront promenade. It is short, about a quarter mile, which makes it easy to cover on foot.
Afternoons bring midway-style carnival games along the water, and evenings bring street performers. You can rent surrey bikes to ride around the area, browse shops like Wyland Galleries for marine paintings, BoardWalk Character Carnival for Disney merchandise, or Thimbles & Threads for swimwear, plush toys and clothing. For food, there is Trattoria al Forno for Italian, Flying Fish for upscale seafood with an on-stage kitchen you can look into, plus a pizza window and a BoardWalk Ice Cream shop for quicker bites.
After dark, the mood shifts. Jellyrolls has dueling pianos and sing-alongs, AbracadaBar pairs drinks with a magician's performance, and Atlantic Dance Hall at the far end has DJs. Hurly-Burly offers family entertainment during the day and live music at night.
