Overview
GOHA BriefSilver Spurs Arena is an indoor, climate-controlled arena in Kissimmee and the home of the Silver Spurs Rodeo, a local tradition since 1944. It suits families and groups who want an evening of rodeo, and it also hosts concerts, family shows, graduations and sporting events.
The arena is part of the Osceola Heritage Park entertainment complex, off West US-192 about two miles west of the Florida Turnpike. It opened in 2003, replacing the outdoor grandstand the rodeo used before. Inside there are roughly 8,300 seats and 12 luxury skyboxes, and the stadium-style layout means the view is good from most seats.
The main draw is the Silver Spurs Rodeo, held here twice a year and billed as the largest rodeo east of the Mississippi River. Shows feature the seven traditional events: bull riding, bareback riding, saddle bronc riding, tie-down roping, team roping, steer wrestling and women's barrel racing. Performances usually run in the evening, often starting at 7:30 pm.
Because it is indoors, Florida heat and rain are not a concern, though it can feel cold inside. Concessions are available, and the rodeo's premium seating adds luxury seats and bar service. Everything is within a short indoor walk, and the venue offers ADA-friendly access.
