Overview
GOHA BriefMedieval Times is a family dinner theater in Kissimmee, set in a European-style castle, where you eat a four-course feast while knights joust and sword fight. It suits families who want a loud, cheer-along night out, and the company says it is fun for all ages.
The Kissimmee venue is housed in a European-style castle and has been entertaining guests since 1983. The show is themed as a royal banquet and tournament, with jousting, sword fighting and games of skill.
You are seated in a colour-coded section that matches one of six knights' kingdoms, and you get a coloured crown to cheer with. The knights compete to become the King's Champion, and the night also includes Andalusian horse dressage and a falcon display. Costumed staff serve a four-course medieval feast in the pre-silverware style, so you eat with your hands. The whole dinner and show runs about two hours.
Each ticket includes two rounds of non-alcoholic drinks with dinner, and adults can use the full-service bar in the castle. A gift shop on site sells costumes and medieval toy weapons, among other things. Higher-tier packages add preferred seating and priority seating access, and some include a cheering banner.
